BIG+BIH 2010 Officially Open

Today the Minister of Commerce, Mrs. Porntiva Nakasai, officially opened the Bangkok International Gift Fair and the Bangkok International Houseware Fair at BITEC.

BIG+BIH is now known as ASEAN's most influential event for gifts and lifestyle goods.

A ten percent increase from last year's export figure, in 2010, Thailand is expected to export $1.7 billion USD of lifestyle products. Already from January to August, this amount has reached the $1.2 billion USD mark.

BIG+BIH is being held for the 30th time, the event this week is marketed under the umbrella theme "Soul and Style of the Orient."
