New York City Store promotes Thai Design and furniture
In New York Cities Meat Packing District Thai Furniture is becoming a hot commodity. Store owner,Ungkun Chansavangwonk is promoting young Thailand-based artisans and their handcrafts in his side street store in one of New York Cities most popular districts. He has assembled never-before-seen, handcrafted furniture and decorative arts from American up-and-comers and native Thai artists.
" I want this Establisment to be a destination for major Thai and American artists to establish fame," says Chansavangwonk, who keeps his store blanche white. He explains that he does not like a lot of clutter but likes openess where people can see and think clearly.
